About Me

Philosophy

I have dedicated my career to helping people find true meaning and life purpose. I believe focusing on the present moment can be a grounding experience. Together we can find a way to achieve peace and acceptance of your life as it is now.

Bio

I have 30 years of social work experience, a Bachelors degree in Sociology with Social Service emphasis, a Master Degree of Social Work, 3 years post graduate supervised training in clinical social work and psychotherapy, and have been a Licensed Psychotherapist for 14 years. I have varied professional experiences throughout my career. Those experiences gave me the wonderful opportunity to work with many different types of people and a range of personal challenges.

I have developed a mindfulness lifestyle, which includes yoga, meditation, and training as a Reiki I practitioner.

Specialty

I provide services to adults, children ages 0-5, and families of children ages 0-5. The following are my areas of interest:

  • Anxiety and Depression
  • Maternal depression/anxiety and perinatal mood/anxiety disorders (i.e. depression/anxiety during pregnancy & postpartum depression/anxiety).
  • Support to young children and their families focusing on developmental, behavioral, parenting, and family dynamic concerns.
